Who We Are
At the Family Awareness Network (FAN), we are all about sharing useful tools and expert advice to help our neighborhood’s kids grow up strong and confident. Run by the FAN District Committee and powered by the passion of District 12 parents and local professionals, we work closely alongside school leaders, social workers, and counselors to provide the most current and up-to-date educational tools and resources for our community that address where our students are at and the current struggles they are facing. We are here to help our community better understand the real hurdles our District 12 students face, while making sure every family feels heard, valued, and supported on their own unique journey. We believe in building a community where no parent has to navigate the path alone and no student feels unheard.
